She started her debut by being the backing vocal of the singer Brenda K Starr. Starr was the first that introduced her with Tommy Mottola that later became her producer and husband. She then won people’s heart with her fantastic song. She even awarded as the most successful American Artist in the nineties. Just like n previous years of their career, the band brought up the beat of rock, alternative rock, Britpop, and neo-psychedelia music.
Dig Out Your Soul has its first single called The Shock of the Lightning. The band conducted a world tour to promote the album, starting in Seattle, Washington and they kept going on tour for eighteen months. In 2009 Noel Gallagher quited from the band.
