Being the music that exclusively loved and enjoyed by not so many people as pop music nowadays, jazz was not originally created to become so exclusive in its early days. Descended from wreck time music, jazz gradually develops and adds some complexity into its element.

Rag is the towel or cloth that the slaves usually use to clean their sweat. Ragtime music is the rhythm that they were usually played when while they were resting from their heavy daily work. (more…)
