There are two teenage singers who cause new trend in country music right now. The two singers are Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift. Both of them are seem to be a good friend for each other and seem to get along very well in music collaboration which they performed in music events.
Miley reached her popularity because of her Disney drama, Hannah Montana, which told about a story of a girl with two different lives as an ordinary girl and as a popular singer. 2010 is opened with a great entertainment on 52 Annual Grammy Awards. This year’s Grammy Awards held on January 31, 2010 in Staples Center. Black Eyed Peas, Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Lady Gaga are some artists that dominate the Grammy Award nominations and winners for this year. Beyonce seems to be the female artist that grabs the most Grammy Awards in a single night. She won six Grammy Awards. Her song “Single Ladies” grabbed Best R&B Female Vocal Performance, Best R&B Song, and Song of the Years. Meanwhile her slow “Halo” song grabbed Best Female Vocal Performance. Her single “At Last ” won Best Traditional R&B performance and her latest album “I Am..Sasha Fierce ” won Best Contemporary R&B Album.
