Oasis has been known as en English band with the sensational story about the Gallagher brothers, Noel and Liam who never seem to be in family peaceful situation. The band has released the latest album featuring Noel Gallagher in October 2008, titled Dig Out Your Soul. Just like n previous years of their career, the band brought up the beat of rock, alternative rock, Britpop, and neo-psychedelia music.

Dig Out Your Soul has its first single called The Shock of the Lightning. The band conducted a world tour to promote the album, starting in Seattle, Washington and they kept going on tour for eighteen months. In 2009 Noel Gallagher quited from the band. At that point of time, the certain album has been sold at the number of two million copies.

In some of the interviews that they have had, they sad that the album was going to be colossal, rocking, sound great live, and that they wrote the songs separately to later on found out that there was common thread. For this album’s recording, Oasis was back to have a cooperation with Dave Sardy who was also the producer for Don’t Believe The Truth album. Dig Out Your Soul was recorded in London and Los Angeles.
