Kanye West on the Studio for the New Album

The fans of Kanye West would be delighted to hear the latest news on him. Officially spoke on his personal site, the Kanyeuniversecity.com, West said that he is about to enter the studio to record the new album. Perhaps, this album might be a little different with the previous albums. He said that he might be taking some sorts of steps away from rap in this new album.

He took the shooting guard of Los Angeles Lakers, Kobe Bryant’s spirits on the court to be his motivator. He said that he was so glad to enter the studio once more and he would bring the best spirit to make the fans satisfied, just the way Kobe Bryant fought on the court. Furthermore, he also realized that this album is not about rap, but it’s about poet. He has decided to follow the footsteps of Maya Angelou, Gill Scott-Heron and Nina Simone.

Those three names are being used as Kanye West’s inspiration on his new album. So, after two years since the 808s & Heartbreak album in 2008, he decided to release the new album and somehow, he also decided to make a little but change that might be a little bit shocking for the listeners.
